Yesterday, I raided the VWR stockroom and attended a brief lecture on how to order these items in the future and how to use the Biology Department stockroom. I am not alone in the belief that this sucks.
Someone had better find a cure for cancer in that lab space.

Yesterday was also the last day of lab for summer school.

It's the Grignard Reaction for two days this week, and it leaves a smell on the glassware which is fruity and acrid at the same time. This means that I will inhale the residual fumes and it will cause my throat and sinuses to become all scratchy. The reagent also leaves a sticky white crust which does not come off without hydrochloric acid and/or scrubbing.
