Well, I haven't said too much lately. I suppose I've been holding my breath with those two awesome prospects I had. Well, I was trying to stay positive, but the truth of the matter seems to be that I just don't quite cut it.
The competition, the qualified, focused, goal-oriented people out there. . .I just feel pretty let down right now. Damn, what is wrong with me? I finally get an interview when I'm not even looking, when I started considering teaching abroad, and wham, I get these loser interviews. The companies were great, I guess I just didn't shine too brightly.

I taught english in Japan for a couple of years. If you feel up to it, and especially if you're interested in learning foreign culture and language I'd say go for it.
It used to be a lot easier to get in and it payed a lot more in their bubble economy (mid-to-late 80's, I was there 93-96) I don't know what it's like now.
