Let's talk about the world. I dunno if you people believe in karma or not. The idea of what you've done before has
lasting consequences on what will come to be...and I would say even if you don't. This day and age is an interesting time to be alive.
Why? Humans have been dealing with wars and famine and pollution for quite a long while. That will change.
It's inevitable. The world can't hold and support what we are doing right now forever, that is obvious. eventually we will consume every last bit and what infrastructure that exists cannot support future generations.
What can we do? Pray....incessantly? haha! perhaps. I dunno. There were some of us in the past who revered nature and the planet....Those of us who strived to achieve a balance in the whole scheme of things. Industrialism changed all that. Now we are at a new crossroads, and I didn't come here like Gore and tell you it's all going to shit.
Gore can spend 50000 or whatever on electricity a month as he pleases, I appreciate the mentioning and work he's done to get the message out there...that shit is fucked.....right now....on this planet. But mostly, the real core of environmentalism isn't for the planet...it's for us.
the earth will be fine. for many years to come, it's just that we as humans can't survive on a planet thats filthy and toxic and heated beyond compare. That is the real issue. We are doing this for us, and yes...the planet of course...but we want to make sure we set the standard for our kids. Let them inherit a world that can be cleaned up feasibly and meaningfully.
Let's not hand them a set of problems they cannot possibly fix. WE can make the change. It might not be easy, or popular. Yet, we as a race of beings on this planet have a responsibility to do our part. otherwise we are just flesh ....taking up space...and consuming. what kind of existence is that though?
Hi, im bob...im just another fat bag of flesh taking up space.....nice to meet you.
