In a tattoo lover's lifetime, sadly a badly done tattoo experience can occur. This has been the case with my second tattoo, as you can see below.
The artist who did it made it a lot thicker than it was supposed to have been by outlining outside the original picture on the stencil and not bothering to have anything straight or evened out.
The first picture below doesn't even begin to show just how crummy this tattoo was. It was blotchy, uneven, and looked like crayon scribble. Everything was uneven and none of the lines were straight. My artist decided to tell me at the very end of the tattoo that he wasn't a 'straight-line' kinda guy.
Seriously??
What kind of an artist would do such a thing? If you can't do a tattoo to the best of your ability, don't bloody do it at all! But yeah, this is what I ended up with:
Notice the shitty everything?
Yesterday I finally got to have it fixed up. I went to a proper tattoo shop where the artists are actually artists and give a shit about their customers. I met a brilliant tattoo artist and in about 15 minutes he turned my crayon scribble to super-awesome-sexyness:
The only thing he didn't fix was the inside of the Triforce, as you can see. But this was because if he had done any more he would have only closed up the space more and it wouldn't have looked any better. Once this heals completely I'm going back to get the black a little bolder. Hopefully I won't die. But seriously, look at how much nicer this is! Look at the lines! I'm pretty sure I could cut ham with those lines!
I can't wait to get this completely finished. It's gonna look even better. It's so nice to have an artist whom I can trust one hundred percent and who can give back something that is better than I expected.
