Today I put in a request for my official transcripts, so I can apply for some scholarships offered by the State of Oregon. Not that I'll get any damn money from them aside from the Oregon Opportunity Grant anyway. Fuckers. I sent pretty much the same essays every year...how many times CAN you write about "your most challenging experience and how it affected your life", anyway? I did write 2 new ones, about my long-term goals, and why I want to work in a public health care field (which radiography is). I'm on a roll now, I'm applying for AmeriCorps, and a shload of other scholarships. I guess my mentality about it is just like people who play the lottery: "you can't win if you don't play."
Last night we interviewed 2 people for 2 positions at The Edge. We liked both of them: the guy who applied for the Sports Editor position was REALLY dynamic and full of energy, and he knew his shit about Oregon Tech's sports, which is a good thing. The guy who applied for the Photo Editor position seems like a good match as well. He was really quiet and shy, but he looks like he'll be a good worker for us.
I had a test in Positioning yesterday and I realized after I finished it and turned it in, that I'd fucked up royally on some of the questions, because they are sooo inconsistent with their teaching. Oh well, there goes my A in Positioning, unless I do incredibly well on the next 2 tests and the final. *sigh*
I need to get laid. I wonder how bad it would be for my relationship if I just grabbed some random guy/girl, dragged him/her into the handicapped bathroom, and fucked his/her brains out?
Oh yeah. I loathe small children. Like under the age of 10. I have really sensitive high-frequency hearing, and their shrieks make me want to drive a tent stake through their skulls.
Must...have...sugar...RAHHHHH
