So, the stress has begun. Four days until I'm leaving for Seattle (PAX, yay!) and I'm getting my pre-travel anxiety. This year "international" passholders apparantly don't get mailed their passes but have to pick them up on the fourth floor... at an event that has thousands of visitors and a line longer than a city block to get into on the first morning I don't really want to have to wait in line to get my pass. That was kinda the point of preordering (though a few bucks off is nice also, I suppose, I really want to get into the first keynote and any delay is unwelcome).
Also, I guess I'm stalling going to work. It appears I'm "lucky" enough to get all the "difficult" clients resulting in my having to meet regularily with management across three layers in two companies. I just want to code... why do I have to negotiate resources? Isn't that called "management?" Don't they get paid far better than I do for that? Just a notion...
In other news my house is very clean right now, thanks to miss Pearlygirl. The difference between a just-finished-university looking residence and a organized house isn't huge... but the transformation is one that a cluttered fellow like myself finds difficult so kudos to her.
In closing, send me money so I can buy a house.

And because you're not a soulless bastard right?

Yeah. My big thing is that I don't like getting punched in the head any more. I mean, I never really enjoyed it that much to begin with but it seemed a lot cooler a few years ago. I'm just too old and tired to bother these days.
