I figured out what to get for a tattoo. Across the back of my right hand I will get, in big bold letters,
I WILL NOT START MY DAY OFF LISTENING TO "SOMETHING I CAN NEVER HAVE"
Apparently that is the only I'll learn. I would add "especially when it is your first day back after a 5 day vacation which has left you at least a little tired and you're stressed about the 2 days of bug fixes your coworkers expect you to do prior to starting your new project but doubt the schedule has been adjusted to accommodate for" but I might have to compromise on the "big bold letters" and, for me, that's the selling feature. Also, it is a horrendous run-on sentence and I can't support that.
The plus side? After riding the motorbike from Edmonton to Waskesiu (SK), down to Moose Jaw and back to Edmonton I think I've gotten my money's worth out of the season.

That may not make the most visually pleasing tattoo, but it's good advice.
