@brian73 had asked if I would take a picture of my lower back tattoo. Of course, I am happy to oblige, it just takes my distracted brain a bit to catch up with all of my to-do's. I thought it would also be a fun opportunity to go down memory lane a bit.
This was my third tattoo , it was done by Dave at TnT Tattoo in Pearl City, Hawaii. I was 19 when I sat down in that chair and Dave proceeded to show me what heavy handed really meant. He did my first tattoo, but since it was a small one I didn't really get the feel for his tattooing. 3.5 hours of drilling and I was as white as a ghost when I walked out. My back has been the hardest spot for me to get tattooed, so far anyway. It's just that spot that brings me to tears. Legs and arms, no problem...isn't that the fun thing about getting tattooed? It is like a box of chocolates.
If anyone here is a fan of Fleetwood Mac, Stevie Nicks in particular, you might recognize this dragon. It is the "S" in her name on one of her solo albums, Trouble in Shangri-La. Fleetwood Mac's music has played a big part in my life and I was so excited to have something so special on me permanently. That pretty much sums up how I feel about all of my tattoos though.
Thanks for joining me on this little trip back in time. It's easy to get caught up in life and forget all the moments that happened along the way. I hope you are all enjoying your Sunday! I know I am with my hot toddy, my puzzle and the snow. Colorado is supposed to get a good amount of snow tonight!
Also!!!!! 3 more days until my first set debuts and I post my first blog homework! I figured the two would be fun to have come out together (my writers block hasn't helped much either with my time line) ! :) :) Also also, Thank you for all your love :)
