It may not be readily apparent, but I actually write these reviews in "real time". In other words, as I watch each episode, I'm writing the review and responding directly to what's progressing on the screen. In large part, I do this because I want to be as accurate as possible in my reactions to this show. In the past, I've been accused of thinking too hard about what I dislike or listening to what others complain about before summing up my own thoughts. However, that's simply not true. These are the thoughts that come as I watch the show, raw and largely unedited.
Here's my review for 24 6.7: "Day 6: 12PM - 1PM":

Overall, this episode continues the disappointing trend of the previous two installments. The current direction of the plot does not feel earned, and it already feels like the writers are making things up as they go along. Despite some interesting ideas, the execution falls short of expectation. One can only hope that this is a momentary lull and that the excellence of the premiere can once again be achieved.
