I posted my thoughts on the burlesque show.... cringe... I dont like having this opinion.... but it is the truth.

Some people take things personally, when in fact they should take them as constructive criticism...or simply as they are: a differing opinion.

If we all had the same opinions, we'd all be driving the same cars and we wouldn't have people driving a gazillion different things in different colors, etc.

People need to embrace that diversity and difference, not tighten up, get mad, or simply take it personally. smile

Tolerance is a virtue.

I hate to say this, but the show was a HUGE disappointment.

I drove HOURS to see the ladies... and Northampton is old stomping ground for me.... I love it there.

But... the venue it self was over sold, and is a poor venue visually because once the place has people in it you cant see much.

And then..... the show was advertised to start...

I will drive 2.5 hours immediately after work, after having bent over backward to get a sitter for the night, then drive back at 1 am, get in by 3, up at 7 when I go pick up the little butt and get him off to school so that I can be to work again...

i do occassionally raise a smile not all the time i dont want you to think im one of those 'happy' types. its good that you have a type of person in mind, thats kind of what i have been doing waiting for miss perfect but things havent really gone to plan in that department, but maybe thats not what love is about. in my opinion love happens it could be with someone who is exactly what you want, or with a biotch who messes you around. as the waiter in my favourite film 'old school' says : "love its a motherfucker"

However, in all fairness, I have met some woman who are horrible at communication. In particular, they assume others should simply know what they're thinking and what they're feeling without ever actually verbalizing anything.

People communicate differently. (Doesn't change the fact that men are assholes, though! smile )

Seeing my shrink was good.
