Howdy everyone. Yep, still nothing horribly exciting going on. I'm going to have to find a job pretty soon. I've been unemployed by choice for a very long time. I've kidded myself into thinking that I would concentrate on school after quitting, but I should have known better. I haven't really done shit over the last few years, which kind of sucks. I was hoping to use the time off from working to build my skills in various artsy-fartsy ventures I was hoping to get into. Yeah, that worked well. NOT!
Well, anyways, I've been putting off looking for a job for a while. I don't really have any real world training in anything, so I only will likely get something related to being a retail cashier like my last two and only jobs. For anybody out there that has worked retail, I don't have to explain how much it can suck major ass.
I'm hoping to find something a bit more professional before I have to settle on some retail bullshit. For those who might be interested, the last job I had was at the Home Depot. That place sucks more than any single place can possibly suck. A friend of a friend is going to a sort of high ranking person at another Home Depot like store called Lowe's. I'm debating if I want to get into that whole thing again, but I've heard Lowe's is a far superior place to work than the Home Depot.
I don't know, I have a few more prospects open, most involving large sums of my limited savings involved in gambling. I've been involved in that kind of stuff before and it hasn't worked out very well, but I'm sort of at the point where I'd rather cut off one of my nuts that work retail again. At least it is kind of comforting knowing I'm not the only person I know going through, "where the fuck is my shitty life going" type introspective questions. Hope whoever actuallly reads this is having a better time. As far as I'm concerned, denial is a powerful thing.
