So, I am officially moved in with my friends in South Philly! It was a shit ton of work, but I'm glad it's over. Now I'm just adjusting to my new routine here. They are eco-crazy so I have to remember to recycle and turn out lights every time I leave a room. In fact, we got into a discussion about whether or not I could turn on a light downstairs in their living room (which gets very little natural light) if I am reading in the daytime. I'm not a fan of getting blinder than I am and I'm already nearsighted enough, so... this was important to me.
Downsizing from a one-bedroom apartment to a slightly smaller room plus some basement space is SO much more work than I imagined! I have gotten rid of 3 pieces of furniture including a large couch, and have more to get rid of. I've also sent a van full of things to MD, and I still feel as if I have too many things around that I'm not using. Once I'm fully unpacked and things are put away, I'll sell a few things and then try to be more of a minimalist. Or, closer on the spectrum to minimalist after being a packrat.
I joined a new gym which I LOVE. For $33 a month, I get yoga classes, pilates, spinning, dance, aerobics, cardio and more, as well as countless machines, a sun deck, a cafe, a small pool, sauna and steam room. I am so in love with it and have already been several times. I fear I'm becoming a bit of a gym rat, it's becoming part of my daily routine. Oh well, there's worse things to be addicted to than exercise. But I do need new workout music... any recommendations?
In other news, my cats are better. They are adjusting to the move much better than I had imagined they would.

legman:
I'd go with "Parallel Lines" and/or "The Best of Blondie".
