Still in Japan. Need to update this thing more. It's Sunday, a week after walking on hot coals at Takao-san, a mountain about an hour west of Tokyo. yeah...i went to that store momoko in austin and i didnt even buy anything hello kitty because there was sooo much other cool kitty things from japan!
also, we had some tea with PEARLS in it??? what in the world is that about? it was pretty freaky! eeek

The pearl tea is I think Chinese... at least, I've had it in Hong Kong and especially in a really awesome tea shop in Zhangjiang (near Hainan Island, on the mainland). Pearls are sometimes associated with long life and beauty, which is why the Chinese do that, at least.
