I read it for the first time about three months ago now and I've been turning it over in my head ever since then and I think I may have come to the conclusion that "Watchmen" by Alan Moore may be among the top ten finest pieces of fiction written in the last fifty years. And towards the front of that list at that. In addition, I believe I may be entirely prepared to knife fight anyone who would like to dispute that hypothesis.
