So, the first Sewanee show went down as well as we could have hoped for. The booking agent couldn't believe it was our first gig. We actually more or less packed the room during our set (given, its a fairly small room, but still... its a 1st show) and the energy level was high throughout. The beer was cold and flowing freely. The tubes were warm and the guitars were loud. I live for the rock and the roll. So cliche, but ah well... fuck it.
Only complaints were the vocals were too low to hear clearly and the lead guitar was WAY too loud... product of no sound guy and four drunks trying to run a PA that had no monitors and an amp head that looked like it was circa 1982. Again... fuck it... good times were had by all.
Come hang with us at the Curtain Club on th 24th!
