Sometimes I don't spend so much time on here lately. It's not so much that I have lost interest... just that I have FOUND interest in other things. But I don't think I'll leave the site. I have so many wonderful friends on here. And I really miss the ones who have left. Try as I might, it is just really hard to keep up with them off the site.
That said, Rush NOT playing good live?
Hopefully it was just an off night. So many acts I've seen numerous times have had off nights.
The only ones I've seen more than twice that HAVEN'T are Santana and Neil Young. And they probably have, too. I've just missed it on the many shows I've seen of them both.
But those are 'wing-it' kind of artists. They are predminately improvisational and one expects ;mistakes' from them.
But . . .
. . . I'd not have guessed perfectionists like Rush to screw up enough to have an overall bad show.
Everyone makes mistakes onstage; it's part of it. Most mistakes I've seen or have on recordings add to it somehow, but then, they're only a small part of a show. Me, I'd be mortified, too, to see a band like Rush and leave with memories of a bad show.
Hope things look up.
