candycrimson:
Awe, sorry to hear about that. Hope you still have a great time at the club! I'm hoping Christmas doesn't get snowed out here!

Thanks for your support. kiss

I'm actually pretty similar to you. I'll spoiler it just so other people don't have to read and so you can read it when you feel comfortable, like you did for me.

SPOILERS! (Click to view)

I'm pretty good about watching it in movies, seeing it on TV, or seeing pictures. Sometimes it bothers me when it's really realistic, but I think that's just because I think it's gross. I also have no problem being around people who are vomiting unless I think I might catch it. A friend of mine had a caffeine overdose just a few weeks ago and I sat by him while he threw up for hours. It makes me feel a little on edge, but doesn't make me panic. The only thing that makes me freak out is when I feel like I might vomit, or when I feel like I've been exposed to something I could catch that would make me throw up.
But it never actually occurred to me to comfort myself by thinking about the fact that I'm just not a "puker" - But you're absolutely right. I actually think that's the root of my phobia, because when I was little I never threw up. Most kids throw up pretty regularly so it becomes a normal part of life, but I never did. So the one or two times when I did throw up, it was terrifying. I haven't thrown up in about thirteen years. I'm pretty sure there were some times when I could have, or even when my body needed to, but I was able to fight it. I'm glad you brought that point up because it is comforting to think that I have a high threshold for becoming sick.

I love burlesque and do enjoy strip clubs, sorry to hear your parties were canceled.

I too will admit my problem of binge reading, I love it. You need to get a job at a library so you can indulge in both private activities at once like I did when I worked as a librarian. Libraries are perfect for girls like us! Also, what girl can turn down a hot librarian? Seriously?

agreed burlesque is cooler, but you will still have a good time!
