Holy crap brother thank you so much for what you do. So sorry about your loss. No sir I am not a Marine nor am I a current or former member of any of the United States Armed Forces. I'm the first in my family since the War Between The States to not serve. I had a commission to attend the USAF Academy but backed out because I wanted to fly jets more than anything and I have shitty eyes and they were uncorrectable at the time. I went another route to however and that is all I can say sir. My great uncle was in the 6th Marines in WWII. He was the 17th man to put his boots on mainland Japan.. It's a good story...
