I just finished taking my ATI tests today. I passed my pediatrics by the skin of my teeth!! I passed the OB test by a good amount and qualifying for level 2, meaning I should be more than prepared for that on the NCLEX. Once I take, and pass, my tests next week I am virtually done with this semester and will be officially halfway through nursing school! 3 semesters out of 6 will be finished! I'll still have psych, ICU, ER and then finding a preceptor to go through my sixth and final semester with!
When starting this journey it felt impossible! I never thought I would be where I am at now. Nursing is such an amazingly difficult series of classes. I've taken more quizzes and tests than I have taken my entire life as a student in this short amount of time. It is absolutely ridiculous!! If not for the ties I have made among my fellow classmates I don't think there is any way in which I would possibly be passing.
Clinicals are always extremely enlightening and heartwarming; especially right now being in OB and watching babies being born. Anyways...1 more set of tests and life is good!
