Best excuss offered for forgetting my birthday.

He thought it was on st georges day as with my taste for the finer things in life (?), rather bbc accent he mixed it up with the national day of an old english nobleman.... although if i remember correctly George was turkish.....

I have a special alarm clock.

It doesn't wake me up with a bleep but slowly with the light on top slowly getting brighter and soft birdsong slowly getting louder.

This means i wake up over a few minutes without the heart attack my old alarm clocks caused.

Sounds good?

Well now outside my window the real dawn chrous is starting at about 04:30.

Sounds...

Its been so hot the last few days that I've not bothered wearing shoes. Walking around the city centre in bare feet gets you some odd looks, maybe it was because I was also in a suit as well. It was a bit strange to get home and have to peel tar and glass off the soles of your feet. I guess i'm just a...

The new website that I'm obsessing over is postsecrets some of the pain that is behind the cards just can't help but seep out.

I really really hate moving.

All the hassle not only over moving boxes but getting all the other things, like internet connection, moved and sorted.

it really is a piss take at times.

Also my roof is leaking.

Actually I could do with saying here to shout at people about houses. My...

I love random journal surfing. Of course then I'm guilt ridden for paying more attention to strangers than my own friends list.

We call him Cor-TEZ right now but sometimes TEZI too. I have a friend who got her dog at the pound and it was named "mitzi" at the time. They changed it to Ren and things are fine (I think their dog was older than Cortez even).

So perhaps I should just make the leap and change his name?

I should be writting an essay right now.

I've impluse brought a house. Decided to have a nose at one for sale just down the road, amused by the blood red/purple/pink bedrooms (each bedroom one wall in each colour) and how I could maybe rent out a room in it I made a half hearted offer which was accepted. Now trying to get the bank...

A few weeks since my last update.

Even stranger, well not so strange as it happens every now and then. I was in the pub with friends and one of their friends the other week. The other friend was saying that when I speak I sound so posh, like I could be on the bbc. I always find that amusing.

At work one of the...

Don't know nowt about websites on hypnosis. But I can recommend books. Recently read Rapid Cognitive Therapy by Georges Philips (I think) and Terence Watts. Mr Terence is one of the folks who does workshops as part of my course. Suprised to find myself most thoroughly enjoying the book because one of the things he's into is ancestral memory and the notion that we can all be classified as either Warriors, Settlers or Nomads. But also covers...well, various theraputic methods. Link between hypnotherapy and psychotherapy/psychoanalysis pretty strong. 0therwise, for general hypnotherapy gubbins you could do worse than The Art of Hypnotherapy by Roy Hunter.

Have been sitting on reception at work and attempting to read Eriksonian Approaches: A Comprehensive Manual. When they say comprehensive they mean it, for it is the size of the last two Harry Potter novels PUT TOGETHER, and good Lord, I'm damned if it's sinking in.
