So Friday night was lots of drinking and my first time playing Texas Holdem, which was loads of fun. Thanks to Mike, Coz, and people from the Corner Bar and Grill for that!
Last night was up and down. Dinner with the parents was good. My dumb goofy ass picked a new restaurant becasue I heard it was good. I didn't even connect that I chose a restaurant named 27 on my 27th birthday until my mom pointed it out.
There had been talk of hanging out with Mike's landlord who was supposedly taking eveyone to a strip club where he knew everyone (nothing wrong with that). Then he back out.
So back to the Corner Bar and Grill again with Mike (love the food, people, and booze). So then with Coz, Mike, and some people from the Corner, ended up at Baja Bean which was fun. Yay for shots of Patron! (I had wanteed to go to Bogarts one of my other favs, but it was packed as hell and not the type of bar you stand up in).
Then we were going to the Paper Moon (strip club for you non RVAers) becasue they have "power hour" which is theyre open till 3, just not serving alcohol. Well, apparently no more power hour at the downtown location. So that sucked.
Then we ended up at Mike's house for more drinking and them trying to find a stripper to come over (which didn't happen but was entertaining to watch them try).
Then I get a call from the girl I've been seeing for like a month who told me previously that I would definatly have a good time on my birthday. She picked up a shift at work and wouldn't be able to hang out. I knew it would happen (hense my last blog), but it still hurt non the less. Not even sure where that thing is going (if its going at all) now.
Anyway there has been talks of attempting to hit the paper moon again tonight but early.
So anyway thanks to Mike, Coz and the people from the Corner Bar and Grill (you RVA people have got to try it) the birthday has been overall pretty good so far.

You like Bela Fleck and the Flecktones? I had no idea! I giggled at Big Country BTW.

Yeah, ya know because the first thing I thought of was Big Country the band.
