Here's some info on an upcoming show. I'm going to have some new photos in the gallery for sale.
The Rage of the Stage Players, (one of the city's most offbeat and
unusual not-for-profit theatre groups), working in concert with
Blankspace Arts (Pittsburgh's burgeoning arts incubator), is proud
to present its original horror trilogy show, entirely composed by
Pittsburgh writers...

Gargouille De La Mort
written by
Joseph A. Roots
directed by
James Michael Shoberg
Synopsis:
Gargouille De La Mort (Gargoyle of Death) is a grotesque statue that
is rumored to be cursed. The most recent chapter in its long and
deadly history, began when Sebastian Van DuStoor, an art collector,
bought the statue at auction. The statue is currently housed in the
Van Dustoor Mansion, which the slightly befuddled Sebastian shares
with his volatile wife
Victoria, both of whom are professors at Plainsmith College. As the
play opens, Jonathan Freedon, a Plainsmith Student who was hired as
an intern to live in the Van Dustoor household to help restore the
stature, is being thrust into a world of wealth, power and
seduction. A world where relationships are not quite what they
seem. A world where plotting a murder in the presence of and
ancient and evil curse is not the wisest of courses.
