So, i went out last night and ran into an old friend from high school. I haven't seen him in 6 years. We used to have a lot in common. However, now he's an investment banker and a "true Catholic".
I'm not saying there is anything wrong with this, but he really changed. He even told me that I was a "deviant" and if i didn't change my ways I would go to hell!! It's amazing how a few years can really change someone.

MistakesMade did make a very good point. True friends will always be there for you. I'll just have to remember that in my current situation. I'm sure my ex is badmouthing me to everyone, even his family, which hurts even more... he lashes out when he's pissed, I've known him for almost 8 years, I would know. But if he does cool down, it's going to take weeks for him to talk to me, if he even does. This may very well be the end, and he was just waiting for an excuse because I know it's been hard for him to keep me as a friend and keep his current girlfriend happy in this situation. She's thrilled, especially since she got to tell me the good news about Steve cutting me off. *sigh* Drama. These are the Days of Our Lives.
