Yummy! Bloggy goodness.
Before my ass goes completely numb (I've been sitting down WAY too long), I actually wanna post something in here.
I can now say for a fact that maturity does not necessarily come with age. My parents, are a prime example. When I finally made my move to New Jersey they flipped. They gave all my shit away. Cancelled my phone. Backed up my debit card illegally cancelling a few payments. They even took away all my college and savings money. But the thing that fucking pissed me off the most.. out of all of this...
They put my cat in an animal shelter. Jesus Christ.
Now, although I can understand parents flipping out when their children leave home, I'm blaming MY parents reaction on a moment of immaturity. I've had friends that aren't ready to leave home. They want to leave home because they think they're badass and that they know everything. And those kids parents have a right to freak out. Those kids have no idea what they're doing. But that's not what went on between me and my parents.
To start off... me and my parents have a very good relationship. Or.. we did. Me and my mom weren't really mother-and-daughter as much as we were sister-and-sister. I told my mom everything and we shared a lot of the same life principles. We would go to work together and shop together.
I know I don't know everything. In fact, I understand that I don't realize a lot of things about the world, but I'd ready to take on the responsibility of living on my own.
I envy the people who have parents that want to help them make the best of their life, even if they're not necessarily following what their PARENTS want.
Poor poor kitty. I want my baby back.
