If you only have one taper pin, and you pierced it with what?? a stud? then you will have problems. What did you use to pierce it? A piercing needle, a gun, or what? That's important. what size is it right now? NO way, if you have a regular sized stud like for mall ear piercing that you will be able to stretch it in a day or even a couple days. PLEASE don't do that!! I don't think one ear pierced looks bad, it's all personal choice.
Need to know the size jewelry in now and what kind.(stud from mall, hoop, or proper piercing jewelry. OK?
Also need to know how soon YOU think you will be stretching it. Hopefully not any time soon, it doesn't work like that. What you must do is take care of the piercing, let it heal all the way, (weeks, not days)then once your skin has regrown inside the piering hole, to slowly stretch it one size at a time.
Most piercings are not even ready for a jewelry change until about 12 weeks. Really. It is requiring your body to change quite a bit, so no rush.
If you want it done right, you gotta have patience.Most people who don't wait and rush things usually have some kind of problems with it later.
