Cheers for the comment mate. Have to agree, while there's a few Britpop bands who've grown on me since 1995, I thought Menswear were shite then and still do now. puke

The Piano is proving hard, but worthwhile work. Its a labour of love learning to play once more. Just a shame the fingers aint keeping up with the memories that are flooding back.

The Times They Are A Changin,.....

He received a letter this morning requesting his signature enabling "the Ex" to go ahead and change the surname of their son from his, to that of her newly intendeds.

He thought, and he thought and he thought before deciding for the first time in two and a half years to tell her to Fcuk Off and say no...

"the Ex" sounds like a bitch.

It seems to me that you handled the situation well.

It sounds to me like your a good dad, 'the Ex' probably realises as well which will make her even more bitchy.

Good for you for standing on your own two feet about this mate.

A boring night in a boring town.

This is what went down at the Diskotek on April fools day from myself and my cohort, the Lady Ciao Baby.
Not very adventurous I'm afraid, its just the way it went and what the kids wanted to hear tonight.

I think we both need to get out more ?

9.30 - Me, (the graveyard shift)

Faithless -...

Saturday night beneath the plastic palm tree's dancing to the sounds of the guns of Naverone.

So, the last couple of weeks have seen him building bridges, pricing Piano's, cementing new found friendships and fighting flak from femanists.

The latter is a long story involving a gig in Bolton at which his new friend was performing whom he drove there as her chapperone to find...

What a difference a week makes,

7 days, 168 hours,..... but he really cant be bothered to work out the minutes or the seconds.

Out of sheer bordom at the works pc system deciding to be fully uncooperative during the early part of last week and therefore rendering him temporarily useless, he decided to dig up his past on the world wide web.

It was...

sounds like you've had a fairly decent week.

sorry i didnt come and say hello last sat night, i spent all my time trying to locate my friends and avoid other people who i couldn't be bothered to talk/explain to.

i don't think im going to reach twice my current age, current bets are that i will expire at around 25

Smiling! Fucking excellent! good to hear man

I'd like to hear that CD sometime, what's it called? perhaps I can track a copy down

Everything in your journal sounds sweet! I'm happy for ya! And that whole paid-time offpersonal support thing, that sounds like a REALLY good plan. I've never heard of it before... I've heard of maternal leave, but not paid time off for someone else to help out too! (Is that something done only through your place of business, or is it like, part of the overall English Health care system or something?)

Rock on Scaliwag

He has so nothing new or exciting really to say. It's all been a case of 4 funerals and no wedding.

The only Aunt that i had gave way to the "C". I didn't know her awfuly well. I knew her hardly at all to be fair and thats down to a rather long story involving my waring Father and his brother.

I did have...

Heh, no I have works training for my new job first thing Weds morning and the last time I went to an away game at Hull back in the dark days of Division 3 I narrowly avoided getting my car bricked by the locals after we won 2-0... eeek

Yeah, the Fenton's a decent venue (the agency I co-run here in Leeds does its gigs there) - it's basically the upstairs room at a rock pub near the Uni - capacity's about 70 or so (though I went to see Deadline there last week and they packed 120-odd into it!). There's a website up here as well.
