So,...

this great nation of ours ( cough, cough spluter, spluter, nearly chokes on his words there ! ) goes to the polls to vote for a Government tomorrow.

I'm running one of the "Polling Stations" and have to be there at 6.30 am. I can't leave the building and go home until close of play at 10.00pm tomorrow night once all those eager voters...

The Piano is proving hard, but worthwhile work. Its a labour of love learning to play once more. Just a shame the fingers aint keeping up with the memories that are flooding back.

I've heard of maternal leave, but not paid time off for someone else to help out too! Heh, no I have works training for my new job first thing Weds morning and the last time I went to an away game at Hull back in the dark days of Division 3 I narrowly avoided getting my car bricked by the locals after we won 2-0... eeek

Yeah, the Fenton's a decent venue (the agency I co-run here in Leeds does its gigs there) - it's basically the upstairs room at a rock pub near the Uni - capacity's about 70 or so (though I went to see Deadline there last week and they packed 120-odd into it!). There's a website up here as well.
