The Life of Howard Gordon
~An on Going Tale of Boredom and Drunkenness~
Howard stumbled up the street dazed, and half wondering with a final destination ahead. Dodging un-shoveled sidewalks and sheets of ice Howard navigated his way the Ford St. The glow of Rose's sign taunts him. "God damn it," he yells not realizing the music blasting in his ears is louder than his voice. He hurrys his pace. (faster he thinks) moving his feet quicker than the snow could crunch. His destination was and he could see his sign. One final push and the steps are there. Howard climbs the 3 concrete steps of the stoop and pulls the screen. It cricks and cracks as he opens it, and the key makes a thud sliding into the lock. Luckily, that thud means business. The bar is open, and Howard feels relieved.
