So I figure a little explanation of where Im at these days would perhaps be a good way to start this properly. I dont really know what Im going to use the journal for yet, since I already have a community contact one on live journal. I like the idea of this for more personal gritty stuff, although I can use filters on live journal. But I digress.
Currently working 3 jobs: web monkey for a small business, masseuse in nightclubs and leafletter for a health club who let me use their gym as well as paying me handsomely. Its all about free workouts. The guy who employs me to create and promote his websites is a cunt, fair and square, and has in the short few weeks in which I have been in his employ managed to twice make references to my self-harming in such a way as to justify me suing him. The masseuse work is great fun, and the guys who pimp us out are totally fantastic, I could marry them both and shit for joy! But I need to some point soon obtain Real work. Im aiming to work in magazine editing, ideally in fashion. I get my hair done by Vidal Sassoon for modelling now which is great but I miss it being pink. The last photos of it pink are in my rejected SG set! Denied! And last mention of that now.
Im working on the creation of a graphic novel with my housemate, called The Magic Garden Detective Agency. Iliad Joyce is my characters name in the tale and one I use most often in unofficial projects. All my eBay mail gets addressed to that name. My flatmate is Helios Drake. Its not so much a role-play as a way of ensuring that all characters have lifelike features and all behave consistently as to their identity - we can write the script then check up with the people on whom the characters are based if this seems likely. I may post some entries from that POV since Im taking the name still. Work on this has currently been delayed however by the need for hard currency on which to live.
Living in SE5 these days, South of the River as some might say, in fair London where we lay our scene. Just had my phone stolen for the 4th time this year which was really great, I enjoyed it immensely. Went for coffee today with a great friend, Bek-e, and pondered the futility of ever settling for one person when the anticipation of the project is what gets me out of bed in the morning. My little gods on earth. Is there anything beyond the thrill of the chase?

The book is pretty good so far. I originally had only seen the movies, so i thought i'd read them and see what was left out .
The Magic Garden Detective Agency. Hmm, I am intrigued already. Iliad Joyce, striking name, I like. Most know more.
I am attempting to procure a Holmes like outfit in time for Halloween. Pimp to the extreme.
