finally got a day away from my friend's house.
can't believe how much shit there is to fix up,
and that all of it gets done so fuckin quickly.
i had a fun day of 'cop and robber's' yesterday.
my friend david has a furniture store.
on saturday they sell this table set to a guy that has mover's pick up the table in a uhaul and charges the bill to his credit card. no big deal.
then on monday the same guy calls and wants a kig size bed and some tables to go with and shit. he would like to complete the order and the billing over the phone.
the bill was over $5000 so they decided to do some checkin up on the guy before finalizing everything.
so they find out its all a big scam.
good old credit card fraud.
so we finish loading up for a delivery at the store and we are driving away and he notices a uhaul at a 'neighbouring' furniture store.
he has me circle the block b/c he thinks it might be the same guys.
he then calls his wife back at the store and says, call 'montague' and ask them if they are loading up a delivery from a phone order.
so we round the corner, and the uhaul pulled away and was four or five blocks up the road. david tells me to follow them for a bit, wait for his wife to call back.
so we cross cambie bridge, left on 11th, then a quick right, then left onto 12th. its all looking good, he's ahead of us two blocks or so. that is until a bus slowed me down.
so i get around the bus and there are now two uhauls in front of us.
then at main, one turns right and one goes straight.
no phone call yet, so we decide to go right.
no uhaul in site.
so we call off the 'chase'.
the phone rings...
montague was taken for a $6000.00 couch.
it was actually the guys.
so we drove up and down main for awhile, but found nuthin.
the cops got all the info on the uhaul from the guys at montague.
so hopefully something will be found.
the store totally gets stuck with the loss.
so yeh, now i have a day to catch up on fracture stuff.
send out a bunch of email and fun stuff like that.
oh yeh, more eye candy in my pics section.
