So, I'm a bit offended, and it is so silly, but here goes:
A few weeks ago I did my first TFCD shoot with a local photographer. We had to cut it short due to his knee bothering him, but I think we got some really good images. So I have been waiting for my CD for weeks and I've also been checking his portfolio in case he uploaded them because I've been so excited to see the pictures. Well, he never added the photos to his portfolio, but he called me and asked me if I got the pictures yet, so I guess he noticed they weren't on my portfolio. Anyway, I'm meeting with him on Saturday to get the CD seeing as I don't think I'm going to be getting it snail mail, even though he told me he mailed them out, and I do believe him. Yet....I still can't help but be offended that he never added any photos to his portfolio, and in the meantime has had other photoshoots and added other pictures. Anyhow...I guess I'm being overly sensitive...it was my first shoot after all, and as far as I know the pictures are real crap because I suck at facial expressions. Would this bother anyone else? I'm a dweeb. Maybe he'll say something about it on Saturday, but I'm not going to bring it up because it's his portfolio, he can add to it what he wants...I just feel bad because if he isn't going to use the photos for his port, his time was a total waste...
So confusing. I'm trying not to make a big deal about it, but I can't help but be bothered a bit.

Maybe it is just a matter of you getting th epictures first and then if you are happy with them, he will add some. Either way, if it is your first shoot, say they don't turn out great. It is a learning experience for the next time. You will only get better as lonmg as you allow yourself to learn from things you have done. In the mean time, there is nothing wrong with being a bit annoyed or offended, because it is a natural reaction to want it to be great. I would wait until you meet him and get the pictures before you worry to much about it.
