Liberals never learn. Ever notice that?

I have also noticed that liberalism is another aspect of conformity.
deadbilly:
Their minds are still back in the 1850s somewhere, with Marx and Engels and everything that came from them. Nevermind the failures of every society that tried to enact Marxist policies, they know that "this time it'll work!"
liquidflorian:
You know, they supposedly found the Liberal gene...

The little red hen called all of her Democrat neighbors together and said, 'If we plant this wheat, we shall have bread to eat. Who will help me plant it?'

'Not I,' said the cow.

'Not I,' said the duck.

'Not I,' said the pig.

'Not I,' said the goose.

'Then I will do it by myself,' said the little red hen, and so she...

Stock, your party and its ticket has become the laughing stock of the entire nation.

Every poll, including the WSJ gave Obama an overwhelming victory in last night's debate; save for one poll that was completely contrary to the rest of the world. Fox News, where polling suggested 80% of the viewers voting, thought McCain won.

A sure sign that your crowd is not only ill-fated but devoid of any reason. Or maybe they were just confused and thought they were voting McCain off the island.
adroitbeing:
So, I point out how you are losing the election, and you think it makes sense to blame the democrats for the mortgage industry problem and that we are in your words; "EVIL fuckers.

At the risk of believing that I am writing to someone with some modicum of reasoning, please consider the following FACTS:
- Members of the House and Senate from both parties have been more than happy over the years to take generous campaign contributions from many of the institutions at the heart of the crisis, including federally chartered Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. All are equally guilty

- It was our own Clinton administration who pushed them to expand lending to moderate and low income earners who took out loans they couldn't afford

- However, left to the natural order of things, these would have simply become failed mortgages

- Instead, it was Bush leadership and the republican leadership in both houses over the last 8 years that watched toxic loans become sliced and diced and packaged into investment vehicles sold to investors as solid bets.

- Regulators turned a blind eye to practices that should have set their heads spinning. Rating agencies, like Moody's and Standard and Poor's; private entities that serve in many ways as guardians of the marketplace, assessing risk and assigning ratings so informed investors can choose whether or not to entrust their money to companies and their financial products failed. But then we learn that they, too, were on the gravy train, earning payment in some cases only if they gave investment-grade ratings to mortgage-backed securities containing toxic assets, with the added bonus of increased earnings if the value of the securities rose after issuance - WHICH ALL CAME ABOUT THROUGH THE DEREGULATION EFFORTS OF THE REPUBLICANS.

Your guys fucked this up on their watch and they did so knowing full well that the financial engineers on Wall Street were going to manipulate the market in their favor.

Too many Republicans are criminals; and apparently quite some number come from your home state!

So it's a typical Wednesday and I'm at the gym (these quads don't work themselves, people) when some big white guy comes up to me and starts chatting. He seems pretty dumb, and he says he's got a joke for me. Well, I like jokes, so I say, tell me the joke.

He says, "Did you see that huge line where Barack Obama was speaking...

surreal Reprobate is an ass hole. I am really sick and tired of the ass holes around here, especially the ones that, when they run of things to say or valid, intellectual points to make, they resort to using things like posting PM's for everyone to read, or, you know, revealing a private detail about someone. Sorry he is being a douche...jeeeezus! mad puke

Obama, Clinton, McCain Join Forces To Form Nightmare Ticket

WASHINGTON_Presidential hopefuls John McCain (R-AZ), Barack Obama (D-IL), and Hillary Clinton (D-NY) announced Monday their plans to form what many Beltway observers have already dubbed the "2008 Nightmare Ticket," a calculated move that political analysts say offers voters the worst of both worlds.

After nearly a year of verbal attacks and negative campaign ads, the nominees...
