Well, we played our record release show to a pretty large crowd that thinned as the technical difficulties got worse and worse. I played fairly well I think. The kodiaks were great and the Dirty Sweets were better than the last time and tighter than ever. The double naught spies couldn't play because my guitarist for the Deadites who also plays in that band went to ICU because he couldn't hold himself up and his stomach was killing him. He's fine now, but he apparently has diabetes and his blood sugar was at something like 400 or more. I talked to him that night when he called the club and he was on his 3rd bag of insulin. Our new name for him is sweet blood. He is at 112 pounds now, which is pretty damn skinny for him, but I think he'll be alright as long as he fixes his diet. I just thought he wasn't eating right and doing a bunch of drugs, apparently it was something more serious if that makes sense.
