What a perfect time for this topic! I'm going to keep it very simple and short.
I have a friend that very recently passed away from cancer. His dying wish was to see the new Star Wars movie. He knew he wasn't going to make it to the release date. His wife started #ForceForDaniel and it went viral! I watched the whole world share, comment, and like all of these stories and posts about him. People were genuinely cheering him on. A stranger. A random guy. The entire world wanted to help make his wish come true.
Usually, I think of social media as being negative. It can be so addictive and overwhelming. Watching Daniel have his wish granted really swayed my opinion. It was so encouraging and inspiring to see so much support.
After all of this, I feel inspired. Life seems limitless. I'm not nearly as skeptical of others intentions. I've learned to keep fighting. I've learned to be positive. Most importantly, I've learned to help lift those that don't have the strength to get up. I feel very humbled.
