I have just finished practising my hula hooping! I'm working on a burlesque strip hula-hoop routine to perform at a friend's party later this year. It's fine with the hooping bit, but the undoing the bows on each side of my panties is a little hard. It involves putting your hand inside the hoop as it's spinning. Anyone know a pro hula-hooper in Sydney? Or perhaps someone who doesn't mind giving advice over the net?
I said I was wagging work, but I ended up doing a shift last night. I LUURVE dancing, so always have lots of fun, but it was so smokey there. And being in it for 7 hours is a long time.
So work-hangover, plus girlie shoping with a friend, plus hula-hooping makes a very sleepy SindyRay.
Should I feel guilty having a nap? Nah!

My friend recently returned from living in New Orleans for 10 years and she said the scene there was awesome... like at the Shim Sham Club.
We have something called Gurlesque, but that isn't held often enough. Oh to have a regular burlesque night!
