As some of you may know, I'm an avid volunteer at the local dog playground: a place where dogs from around the country (and sometimes people from other countries even) can run free without the hassle of cyclists, small children, etc. Yesterday, we had a bit of a situation. Two dogs suddenly did not get along, and they were about to fight pretty badly. We have a general rule that owners need to take care of these things but they just stood there, yelling but otherwise petrified. I had to jump between them or one of them might not walk it off.
Well, I reached for the dog's collar, butgot their mouth instead. Nothing too serious, I thought, until I looked. It was a small scratch but it was bleeding quite badly, so I had to get to the hospital. Luckily my shift could be covered. Rushing home to get my booklet of vaccinations and my doctor's information, I quickly went to the hospital to get a shot.
Once there, the doctor told me that it would likely get infected and I also needed antibiotics. Yay.
Today there's a fair, and Friday I worked my first night at the restaurant, which was awesome. How was your guys' weekend?
