A small update here on my blog for hump-day!
This week so far has been pretty sweet. Well, except work on monday, because our new delivery system doesn't work as planned and one of my colleagues told me, she's going to quit her job next month. So to be perfectly honest, I started into this week with a rather foul mood.
That changed when I saw a nice, little, white envelope waiting for me on the kitchen table after coming home from work. The long awaited etsy-order from the lovely @artillery finally arrived! (Yeah, she has an etsy-account. Go check it out! Buy stuff! Now!) That was like a shot of adrenaline right into the barely pumping heart of my cerebral happy-spot.
And on yesterday, one of my best friends and I went on a trip to Germany to visit my sister. We didn't do much on tuesday, there was a lot of catching up and fun to be had. And it's weird to see my sis so... big. She is really small and a very delicate, but now she is just full-blown pregnant. XD And although I'm everything but a childs-person, I'm so happy for her!
But today... daaaamn, that was a day to remember. First, we went to a small bakery for a delicious breakfast. After that, we took the car to Nürnberg, because we wanted to watch "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles". Unfortunately, only one cinema still aired the movie. And the tickets were expensive. Like... A LOT. 18 Euros for one ticket. At least, I THOUGHT that was expensive. But then, I have never seen a cinema like this. Not only did you get a free welcome-drink at the bar, but the snacks you can order are brought to your seat.
Speaking of seats... the whole cinema hall only has six rows. But each row is seperated from the next, so you have a LOT of room. And they are more lounge chairs than anything else. Including electricall adjustable back- and footrest. You can literally lie flat on your back, if you want. And on a swinging table, there wasn't only my order waiting, but also an additional menue. So, if you want you can order everything, from antipasti to champagne from your seat.
To be honest, no other movie will be the same again. I want a cinema like that where I live.
And after the movie, we went through the city, to all important stores, like Ultra Comics or a really sweet goth-store (I can't remember what it was called). All in all, we spent almost 7 hours in the city, just having tons of fun. And the day ended with us three, having a blast with Little Big Planet. And now, everyone is sleeping, while I am sitting in the dark on the couch, writing all this, wondering, what the next two days will offer before we have to leave again.
(There should have been two pictures, but SG.com decided to mess with me and it just didn't work... Sorry.)
