So,
My friend and I wound up walking home from my buddies' place after a night of drinking, nothing too silly and the captain is still my friend (yay for that!). Oh, and I still had my pants on afterwords...So anyways, my friend and I were walking home in the hot-assed 29 Palms sun...Which sucked, but I'm glad I had someone to walk home with this time. So while we're walking home, that Misfits song Children in Heat popped into my head for some reason or another and it made me remember when I was younger...When I was that shy chubby kid that really didn't stand for much of anything, then all of a sudden, I'm in the military and I started listening to punk rock from a friend that I will never forget, Lennon...That's the thing is though, regardless of whether you lose touch with someone or not...There is still that...Tick, for lack of a better word, that someone has that helps you grow and develop as a person. So I guess the point I am trying to make is...Just because you lose touch someone, that's not the end, just because they are intangible doesn't mean that they still aren't a part of your life...If you remember that person, then they are still with you. Sometimes all it takes is a phone call or an e-mail or something to rekindle that interest...Which reminds me, I should probably look Lennon up again. Well, bye for now...
