So... I'm about a quarter of the way through the study now...
Right now, our days basically go like this:
we get woken at 7ish, get vitals stats done, take some pills that are either placebo or an unyet approved drug, get more stats done a bit later and get fed at regulated times.
In a few days, we get to take a known and approved med at the same time as our normal dose of whatever else we're taking and they'll take a whole bunch of blood samples to see what might happen.
A few days after that, we get to go home for about 10 days (called a wash out period according to the calendar).
Finally, we come back for another 12 day period to do exactly the same thing over again, albeit taking the other course of meds every morning that we didn't take last time.
All in all, it's rather boring, even if they have bought a whole bunch of new electronics to occupy our time.
