Well it's back to work tomorrow, and it looks like my boss had recieved a warning about my working hours, it seems EU law stipulates that over a 17 week rolling period, I'm not supposed to be doing over 48 hours average. I'm up at 55, and in most cases, I'm doing much more at peak times. After all, if you take the day off after a 35 hour shift, then the average for those two days is only 15. It doesn't really show the pressure that you would be under, and how much more damaging 30hour shifts are than two 15.
Still, I'm hoping to manage this a bit better myself, maybe do a bit of sport, leave on purpose a bit earlier than usuall. Manage expectations and all that. We shall see.
Just back from a party at one of Cat's friends. Was OK, have been a bit tired, which Cat got a bit pouty about. Can't keep up these days, two pints and a few smokes of stuff and bosh..

but if you are working with computers you probably should try to cut back on the hours you are working
