Have you ever thought that you had extinguished a negative trait only to see it flame up, suddenly, out of the embers? I guess all my negative trait needed was for someone to blow its smoldering coals, making it manifest, never extinguished to begin with.
For such a long time I hadn't experienced that pulsing, anxious fury that used to course through me when I was angry, when I felt something or someone was wrong. I had learned how to be still and wait.
All it took was a distinguished older friend of my boyfriends family to rant about universal health care and its inherent evils to render me a woman with tigers and fire in her blood.
In other words, II turned into a bitch. And I don't like that person.
I don't like the fact that anger can transform me into what it wants me to be, stealing away my values and beliefs.
Helps me to understand how people lose control sometimes though, feeling that seed of hate.

it sucks to know that we all posses this ability and at some point or another we do lose control. i guess the only thing we can do about it is remember how we are when these time arise and try to take the necessary steps to prevent it.
hope you and your "new friends" are doing well gorgeous!
Besides, in relation to the Northern and Southern Kingdoms and 300 years after Jesus and such, you should be at least a little proud that you know about something of which I know almost nothing. It's not something that happens to me very often. Not that I'm showing off, or saying you have a lack of knowledge, or anything of that sort. I just know more stuff than is good for me.
Comprehensive exams, huh? Geez, I wish I were back in school!
