I guess my band is playing tomorrow night at the Distillery. I thought this show was cancelled, but apparently not. Anyone reading this near Sacramento should come on out and get crunk with us. That is all.

I added a few pictures from our show last week, and I'll try to add more when I get some time.

I had a really cool dream last night. I dreamt that Husker Du had gotten back together to play on a tv show put together by rolling stone magazine. They sounded amazingly great, and the best part was they played a couple of new...

Mmmm...Husker Du.
A couple weeks ago, when my friends and I went to DC to see Social D, we popped "Candy Apple Grey" in the car cd player. Thought I was gonna pee my pants since I hadn't listened to it in so long.

dude I read that yesterday, awesome.

I remember them talking about it almost a year ago, like it was an imminent event, but then the report said it 'could happen some time in the next 500 years.' Then nobody mnentioned it again. And now, suddenly, it's St Helens again. Whatever.

wow that would be scary. I used to have a venomous red bellied water snake that I found injured by the road, he didn't live very long though.

I see raccoons almost every day where I live. My dog is constantly chasing them. They're extremely cute little varmints, so I don't get too mad when I hear them digging in the trash at 3 am.
alexbetty:
They actually have a 'deer problem' where my dad lives in Suburbia, OH. All the condo developments have displaced the deer, so people are always finding them in their back yards, nibbling at their patio plants. They have authorized 'herd thinning' every year because they get so numerous. I think it would be better to let them be, so they'd come home and find a big buck in front of their TV, crackin' open one of their PBRs. biggrin

I also have a friend near there who has a 'mink problem.' Apparently some well-intention animal rights activists freed these minks from a nearby farm, and they got into the woods and started breeding like rabbits. Now he can look out his back window and see an undulating wave of them crossing the deck, hunting down all the neighborhood chipmunks and bunnies (who knew mink where pack-hunting carnivores?) Stupid activists had no idea what problems they were causing to the local ecosystem. ooo aaa
