I decided to go to the Suicide Girls Burlesque show last night at Numbers. I showed up about 10:30 and the place was cram packed with people. I didn't even see Jason and Mandi the entire night and two other friends didn't show, so I was glad to run into Joni and Ryder. Going someplace where you don't know anybody really stinks.
The opening act was a three piece female Japanese band called Tsu Shi Ma Mi Re. It was Ska/Punk rock and was interesting at times but hard to listen too. Wild sound in other words. The singer went from low gruntal bellowing to a dainty tiny Japanese girls voice. Made me smile and hell, that's why I wentit's for the experience of new things.
The Burlesque show went on about 20 til midnight and I really had wished that the stage was 8 inches talleruh yeh, I couldn't see any ass. haha I think all the tall people got front row or something because I couldn't see chit man! eh, I saw enough to be satisfied for paying $15 big ones. Actually the individual shows were pretty well thought up and the choreography rocked man. I like their choice in musicas in one of the skits they played out the scene in Reservoir Dogs and played Harrison's 'Caught in the Middle' song. The music varied quite a bit, but I couldn't tell you what was playing when the hula-hoop came out. I was, I guess, mesmerized by one of the girls and her psychedelic hula-hoop. I've never thought that I could be aroused by a hula-hoop.truthfully im sure the gyrations were to blame, but it was very tasteful and fun to watch.
Two beers and $15 dollars for a ticketI didn't stay much past 1amwork ya know. I'd have to say that I'd hit it again next year when the come aroundyou should too. Expand your horizons!!!!

It was badass... I had a lot of fun, although there were too many lesbians in the bathroom. How can you screw in a turdy stall? Eeeew!
