Its one thing to always hear creaking floors, especially in a nearly 100 year old home. Quite another to hear doors creaking open and shut, even tho you know that they are all closed bc you just checked. THEN even worse is the sound of someone pacing back and forth upstairs when you are home alone. Or random belongings in places you never put them at, much less, o i would say been over a year since they have been touched at all. i know this bc i hate to dust. therefore the dusting only happens in the ritual spring fashion. if my new "friend" doesnt learn to be a little more invested and respectful in the way hes scaring me, and turn it down a notch.... he can have the damn house.

Feels weird to admit it and a little embarrassing but i recently learned other members of my family have had their own experiences too, some dating way back which surprised me, My uncle especially.
Asserting your own position of dominance and place in the house always helped me to feel more at ease when i felt there was a presence around.
Hope all is good
