it was extremley riviting..how was london, don't really like the place myself, but then i'm a northern lad with northern values.

yeah i have a few friends down there, but i do prefer the calssic northern hospitality, i like to call the chester of man my home, even though i dont actually technically live there, and london seems a bit unfriendly to me, like people would sooner step on me than help me.

Have you read any other Iain Banks?

I read wasp factory a long time ago and to be honest i've never really known much about literature but it always seemed to me that banks had a bit of a disdain for organised religion and that nowhere in his other books was this as obvious as in wasp factory.

Odd night indeed last night.

Went to see the first year college-goers in their bands, they each did something from a different era. So, there where hippies walking around, glamrockers, punks and people in nice velor jackets. So proud of Harris and Damon though! Like a beaming mother. Though I didn't give birth to them, you still get the idea.
