Watching cartoons... oh sooo bad... Love the diologue in Harlequinade though!
BATMAN: What's the attraction, Quinn? This sick attraction with the Joker?
HARLEY: Look, Bats. When I was a doctor I was always listening to other people's problems then I met Mister J who listened to me for a change and made everything fun.
BATMAN: You think it's funny when he hurts people?
HARLEY: It's just a joke.
BATMAN: Hope you're still laughing when it's your turn.
My experiments yesterday went well! I determined the relaxation time of 13C to be ~8seconds despite the presence of paramagnetic nuclei. The peaks are a bit broader than usual but in the 1H NMR, I'm still able to see J-couplings so it's not totally unusable! Because the diffusion time has to be shorter than the relaxation time (especially if my liquid is diffusing through ~3nm of material that's loaded with grain boundaries. I'll be able to actually do 2D exchange and determine whether or not liquid diffuses into my nanosphere! I can't wait!
Oh yes! I made amorphous material with nanoparticles of platinum imbedded in it inadvertantely! I love glasses! I posted the TEM in my Pt folder!

Here, my parting gifts to you, an otherwise intelligent woman who thinks films like 'Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind" are good:
