Okay...So...I just got a new tattoo, it is of an old school poison girl, i am pretty much on love with it. Except, it is scabbing quite badly, not bad enough so the ink comes out, but it is quite the nuisance. Today I have to decided I am going to save money to go to Europe, backpack Europe to be specific, with my friend Matt. Matt is straight, and looks straight, but his personality is quite feminine. He enjoys shopping, and gossiping, and there is something girly about him that I cannot put my finger on. All i know is that everyone knows he is gay but him, which means he probably isn't gay but whatever. If anyone has any tips or and inside track on the whole beackpacking Europe thing, please feel free to share, as long as it isn't "go see the movie Hostel." Because I have already been told that. Okay, next point on the agenda, I smell like onions, Eww... I work at a vegetarian restaurant and I love working there and I love the free food, but i smell gross after work. I thought I'd share that because I just thought I would. But do not fear, I do shower and the smell goes away, so it's not like it's how I smell all the time. I have decided that I am a technophobe, not a diagnosed one because my case is not serious, but i have found that I can get along very well sans computer/phone/television. I am quite content curling up with a book, I know, sounds geeky, but geeks are the new cool. Wow, I say I a lot, but how else is someone supposed to address themselves when speaking of themselves? Whatever, I don't actually care because this is my journal. If your reading this now, I must commend you for making it this far, this whole journal was a whole heckler load of useless garble. So i will leave you with and interesting fact that I learned today. The seat beside the drivers is called "shotgun" beacue in the olden days when they drove carriages the position beside the guy holding the reins was for the shooter, who shot any oncoming bad guys with a shotgun. Interesting? I thought so. So, again, any tips on the whole Europe idea, let me know, please.

as for backpacking, i think its a sweet idea but i've never done it... since im doing the whole school nerdy thing. my older sister went backpacking through australia for a year and came back a totally changed (in a good way) person.
my advice, if your going to stay in hostels, take your own pillow case and make sure you get a hostelling international membership.. and try to stay at hostels that are members too.. i've been to england and scotland and found that those that were members of the international hostel thingy were much nicer.
