So i've been in korea for a bit now, and i do like it. most soldiers dont really like it out here though... it just seems to be a lot different for civilians than it is for soldiers. they all hate it. but anyways, it's not so much different from philadelphia... the only thing different is that everything is in hongul. i cant wait until i'm able to learn more of that language, because once i do things will be a hell of a lot easier for me. hahahaha. it's not that hard to begin with... it's just the language barrier that makes things difficult at times.
i dont get out much, but i dont mind that. i scare a lot of koreans because of the piercings, and a lot of the soldiers of post are assholes and i dont think that it's worth wasting my time with. i dont get along with any of the other spouses either. it's almost like if you dont have a kid out here, they dont want anything to do with you... and most of the americans out here look at me crazier than the koreans do. a little bit of a disappointment. but oh well.
hopefully i will be able to get my photo equipment back soon enough and i can get back to putting out sets. i'm going a little stir crazy without my photography. =/

See if you can find somebody who teaches English there. I've had friends that did that in Japan. I don't see ihow it would much different in Korea. Good luck!
