Went on a date last night with someone new. Doing the sums She's the 18th first date I've been on since Joanne left me over two years ago.
I've been chatting to her on the phone and over the net for a good while, but last night was the first time we could actually get around to seeing each other.
All I can say is WOW!
All boxes ticked, all the right buttons have been pressed and all the lights are flashing!
As far as I can tell so far its a fairly mutual thing (don't want to count any chickens just yet!).
There's one thing, but I don't see it as a problem, just something I've not encountered before and that is she's got kids. Two very young daughters to be exact. Now I'm an only child and even though I've got quite an extended family I've not much experience when it comes to toddlers.
I suppose it's just a matter of getting used to it, you live and learn?
But on the whole I'm currently rather chuffed

I have been on a million and one first dates, they never seem to go anywhere.
As for Japan - I won't be going until at least the summer... but yes, i definately plan on keeping up with SG journals. Obviously it wont be so easy, andi wont be able to be so efficient on here or update so often, but I want to share my adventure with as many people as possible!!
And Harry Potter... I read the first two books as well and then gave up. I like the films though, I think they're sort of magical in a light-hearted film kinda way. Sometimes we all need a bit of fun on film. (that sounds dirty,... haha, i didnt mean that.)
have a nice weekend !
