Grumble.... I wrote a midterm today during which even the prof realized that the question worth the most marks was TOO FUCKING HARD! Honestly, it was something that some people would know, but even after the prof gave us a hint in the exam most people couldn't get it. And then the prof figured another hint was in order, but a couple people had already handed in their exams and left, so he felt he couldn't give us anymore hints as it wasn't fair. Which I agree with... BUT STILL! RAWR! And I'm hoping everyone bombed that question, because then he said he'll "do something about it" which I hope means "I will take it off the exam and not count it". That'd be sweet.
Anyway, I must congratulate glass_cat on his new job! LOL I'm starting to wonder if I'm more excited for him than he is... You should all go say something to him about it too.
I have another, considerably less angry rant also. My little brother (who is now 18) finally got a cellphone (he moved away from home and pretty much fell off the planet). Which I have probably mentioned. I have also most likely said something about how he finally got one and I was dancing for joy. WELL, my brother has a tendency to be a little arrogant. Or maybe a little more than a little. Regardless, when his cell company sent his bill to the wrong address so he never received it, he decided that "that is their fault and they can just get it right before I pay". Which is not the best of plans when it comes to bills, as I'm sure you all know. And so, his phone is temporarily disconnected, and thus he has fallen off of the planet again. Which means my plans to go home for easter and pick him up on the way are not happening, as I can't get ahold of him and actually MAKE the plans. And that very well might mean I don't get to see him for a loooooong time, as he doesn't have a vehicle and therefore can't get home on his own.
I miss my brother
Ah yes, and guess what I did? I accepted a job (or at least probably will after tomorrow's "trial run") working for my roomie's uncle. At the farmer's market. Saturday mornings. From 6am - 9am. Which means getting up somewhere around 5am every saturday. *cries* I realize I could just say no, but any extra money I can make is a really good idea right now. And my roomie is all excited. And regardless of all that, I agreed to a trial run tomorrow morning. Which means I will be up at 5am tomorrow. Dream of me while you are all warm in your beds!
I'm cold. I might go sit in my bathtub full of hot water now. Mmmmm....

Hope that your job works out good, money is good to have....and that your brother reappears again.
My own experience about mis-mailed bills is similar. Only they were willing to call me before shutting me off, and thus I was able to explain that I hadn't seen a bill in ages. They still wanted the money. They're like that.
