It's 655 am.
I am up.
Have to get the ginormous turkey into the oven.
I bought the biggest bird I could find, a 20 pounder.
I want to have lots of leftovers.
But the do take forever to cook you know.
Have a great Thanksgiving.
There is a pretty good show on Netflix the first episode has a nice Thanksgiving called "American Experience". It's always good to remember there is a lot of history around this day and I don't think it was bad. Time changed and of coarse the relationship with the Natives changed but I believe that it did probably have some nice parts before greed, predjudice, hatred and carniage took place.
I just love Thanksgiving.
Have a wonderful day.
Oh and the green bean casserole is the recipe on the Frenchs french fired onion can. It is easy and yummy. Nothing to special about it. I am however going to try a new cranberry recipe that I saw on the food channel. Cook Cranberries, Cranberry juice, cinnamon stick, apples and at the end add a little bit of creme of tartar to thicken. It sounds really yummy to me. OH and of coarse the Martha Stewart Turkey that I make every year. Last year it sucked because I bought a cheap, very cheap, bird. I spent the extra this year. Who wants to eat a yucky turkey? Not me.
I like you all so much.

Went to my sister's, Prime Rib and Rack of Lamb
both were most yummie.
I was Thankful for not haveing to spend most of the Day
tending a fire and spit roasting a bird. Stay under 12lbs
so that it will fit in the Tin Kitchen [ pic in album ]. Strip
the meat from the carcase and start the soup that night
and use less space in the fridge trying to fit in all of the bones.
But will be doing one for X-mas time.
